  1. Jun 07,  · this album is always put down by so called sabbath fans they can have masters of reality which they rave about and i think its a rubbish album that,,,this album on the other hand with sabotage and vol 4 are the best by far, it you have never heard this album listen now its bloody amazing and the black box remaster really kicks your brains out/5().
  2. Never Say Die has an end result of being a Sabbath album that's far more reliant on JAZZ and moderate rock than on the crushing heaviness and SCARY imagery that Black Sabbath had been known for previously. But Sabbath excelled as musicians no matter what imagery the album may or may not have had and with that understanding, it's not unpleasant/5().

  5. Though Black Sabbath's "Never Say Die!" wasn't a breakup album in the strictest sense, it did signal the end of their partnership with frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who would soon be booted out for being too messed up on drugs, by a band messed up on drugs. The unsteady state of the entire band, however, makes "Never Say Die!"/5().
  6. LP Sanctuary (UK ) – “Vinyl Collection” I think Never Say Die is Black Sabbath’s best album from the Ozzy era and might have even been better if they had completed it with Ozzy. Never Say Die, Sabotage and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath are musically their most sophistocated and technical albums. Listen to the jazzy parts on Air.

  8. After going their separate ways for a brief period following the emotionally taxing and drug-infested Technical Ecstasy tour, Black Sabbath and singer Ozzy Osbourne reconciled long enough to record 's Never Say Die! -- an album whose varied but often unfocused songs perfectly reflected the band's uneasy state of affairs at the time.
  9. Never Say Die! was Black Sabbath's eighth studio album and the final studio album to feature vocalist Ozzy Osbourne prior to his departure from the band in (until the album 13) and the last full studio album to feature the band's original line up/5().
