The best place to witness the White Stripes in their early days was probably in a sweaty underground club. next best was a live and raw radio session and as usual legendary DJ John Peel was ahead of the curve and championed the duo by way of a series of Peel Sessions. This release collects the lot on a double LP which is stuffed to the gills full of self-penned classics such as Hotel Yorba and 9/10(2).
